Angela brings a wealth of experience to the city council race – she will unseat one of the three long-standing incumbents running for re-election. Angela’s professional and community service background describes an extremely capable candidate and a woman who will serve Rocklin with passion, ethics and pro active leadership.

Angela’s formal ballot statement to be released soon by the Placer County Dept. of Elections reads, in part:

"Elected as Rocklin City Councilwoman, I will contribute 22 years professional work experience in transportation oversight, real estate development and land use planning. Originally from Southern, CA, I am very aware why Rocklin needs to ensure it does not become a messy sprawl of suburban traffic congestion. My community service includes: Chair of Sacramento County Planning and Development Council, SACOG Roundtable for Regional Transportation, President of Neighborhood Association, after-school tutoring volunteer at Breen Elementary and member of the Save Clover Valley Coalition. Professionally, I work for the State of California.

As councilwoman, I will bring a new vision to City Hall: smart, sustainable growth established with community support. I will offer sound city governance: less dependence on residential tax revenue. I will work to establish an improved Rocklin: transit-oriented development emphasizing the city’s unique historical value. Promising a strong commitment to Rocklin’s future, I support sensible commercial and residential growth. I desire to see Rocklin’s high retail vacancy rate corrected as soon as possible. Today’s economic climate threatens all citizens. Rocklin needs a secure budget reserve and proactive plan to bring new business to its vacant downtown core.

I look forward to serving Rocklin citizens."
